Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Thursday, Sept 26th
Arrive in Munich: You’ll be greeted by our staff at the airport and shuttled to your hotel for check-in.
Orientation: Your hotel is located in a super convenient and bustling part of München. We’ll walk you around the area so you can check out the Theresienwiese (Oktoberfest site) , Marienplatz, and other great sites.
Bavarian Welcome Dinner: Join us for a hearty Bavarian meal at a traditional restaurant or local beer garden. You will enjoy Hofbräuhaus experience. Get to know your fellow travelers during the pre-Oktoberfest toast at München’s legendary Hofbräuhaus.


Day 2: Friday, Sept 27th
Buffet Breakfast: Enjoy a complimentary breakfast in your hotel.
Day in Oktoberfest: 10:00am Oktoberfest Tour.
OPTIONAL VIP Beer Tent Reservation: Due to large numbers of people visiting Oktoberfest, Deaf Resorts have reserved a limited number of seats at the beer tent. With the VIP Beer Tent Pass, We’ll get you inside one of Oktoberfest’s largest beer tents for live music, merry-making, and (of course) beer! Your reservation includes two beers and a meal, roasted half chicken, and gingerbread cookies. Plus, a Ferris wheel ride to view the whole landscape of Oktoberfest. Note it is not required to reserve seats to get into the Beer Tent however there will be a very long line to get inside the Beer Tent. Why waste time waiting in the line after you travel for thousands of miles to the famous Oktoberfest!
Day 3: Saturday, Sept 28th

Deaf Oktoberfest Day: This is your day to explore Oktoberfest at 9:45 a.m., we will bring you to the.beer tent and meet the deaf folks from all over Europe. The tables are not reserved and you are encouraged to mingle with fellow deaf people as you share the table. You have a choice to hang out in the beer tent and check out other attractions in Theresienwiese (Oktoberfest site). It is strongly recommended that you get into the Beer Tent before 10 a.m.



Day 4: Sunday, Sept 29th
Buffet Breakfast: Enjoy a complimentary breakfast in your hotel.
A full day of a guided tour of München (combination train & walking). You will see this city’s best attractions including Peterskirche (St Peter’s Church), which is the oldest church in München as well as the open-air market, Viktualienmarkt, and the medieval Isartor Gate. You will also visit Munich’s Marienplatz, which has served as the city’s main square for almost 900 years. If your group arrives at 11:00 am, you’ll get to enjoy the iconic Glockenspiel’s life-size figurines perform high atop the New Town Hall (Rathaus).
Take a walk through the English Garden, Europe’s largest city park, and stop for lunch. The balance of the day is free for you to continue exploring München on your own. Keep in mind that München is home to some of Europe’s very best museums, consider optional tour visiting the Alte Pinakothek or the Deutsches Museum.
Your group will be taken to the BMW Museum and the Olympic Park for the tower ascent to see the whole view of Munich with Alps mountain in the background.
Day 5: Monday, Sept 30th

Neuschwanstein Castle Trip: Witness the fairy tale castles of Neuschwanstein and Linderhof, created by Germany’s 19th-century King Ludwig II, on a day trip from Munich. Traveling by air-conditioned coach with a Deaf Guide/ASL Interpreter. Join an interior tour and then continue to Neuschwanstein, a famous European castle that inspired Disney’s Sleeping Beauty castle. Enjoy free time in nearby Hohenschwangau village for lunch and to explore Neuschwanstein’s grounds, and take the castle tour.
Free Evening at Oktoberfest: Go explore the festival grounds! From the carnival rides to the amazing food, you’ll find plenty to keep you entertained.
Day 6: Tuesday, Oct 1st
Buffet Breakfast: Enjoy a complimentary breakfast in your hotel.
Romantic Road Day Trip: Admire the countryside, castles and villages of Germany’s Romantic Road on a day trip from Munich. Enjoy a coach drive along the iconic Road, a famously picturesque route through Bavaria’s mountains and forests. Stop at 11th-century Harburg Castle, one of Germany’s oldest fortifications, and continue to Rothenburg, a beautifully preserved medieval town of cobbled lanes, squares, and half-timbered houses. See top attractions such as the Renaissance-era Town Hall and St Jakob’s Church, enjoy free time to wander, have lunch (own expense), and browse the famous year-round Christmas shop.
Day 7: Wednesday, Oct 2nd

Salzburg Sightseeing by High Speed Rail from Munich. Explore the historic birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart—on a day trip from Munich. View the famous movie set used for the Sound of Music. Relax on the comfortable train ride to Salzburg, take a guided tour of city attractions like Domkirche Cathedral and the Festung Hohensalzburg fortress, then enjoy hours of independent time to explore. Soak up Austrian history, sample local delicacies, and snap photos of the city set against the striking backdrop of the Alps.
Day 8: Thursday, Oct 3rd

Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site Tour.
Day 9: Friday, Oct 4th
Buffet Breakfast: Enjoy a complimentary breakfast in your hotel. Breakfast opens at 7 a.m.
Return to airport on a shuttle bus.

- Cancellations with more than 120 days prior to departure, $250 Non-Refundable Deposit is retained.
- Cancellations between 119 days and 95 days prior to departure 50% is retained
- Cancellations between 94 days and 60 days prior to departure 90% is retained
- Cancellations 59 days or less, or no show 100% of the package price is retained
