Resorts Highlights:
The Weather:
We received some concerns about the weather in Costa Rica. Here’s information about it:
There is a relative decrease in the amount of rain during the months of July and August, which are termed veranillo, or “little summer.”
These months are marked by an intensification of the trade winds. The rainiest month are September and October, mainly due to the influence of the cyclone systems, the monsoon winds from the equatorial Pacific Ocean, and the sea breezes. The rains mainly occur during the afternoon and early evening.

Excursions: Guanacaste is less tropical, humid and lush than the rest of the country. Its plains and dry forests sometimes remind African savanna landscapes. Inland you can see the savanna, local cowboys on their horses while driving their flocks, which are authentic figures of popular culture of this destination. From the hotel, you can do several excursions that you can not lose, like the visit of the National Park Rincon de la Vieja, the Safari Park or the capital of Guanacaste: Liberia. The prices will be determined by the local tour operator and posted shortly.
